What started out as a job more than 2 decades ago to help pay for school quickly sparked a career path for Gayle Brand, president of Chicago Title Houston. Her career in the title industry began when she took a job answering telephones at a smaller title company while she was finishing her degree at the University of Houston. Gayle has been with Chicago Title since 1995 and was promoted to President in 2007. Under her direction Chicago Title Houston has expanded our geographic footprint in the Houston area, growing both strategically and organically to better serves our customers’ needs. Gayle is responsible for making Chicago Title Houston what it is today, and proudly boasts that it is one of the top operations for Chicago Title in the country.
Gayle has a very unique vision when it comes to the services that we provide to the consumer, the real estate and builder community, and to our commercial partners on a local and national level. Gayle says, “At Chicago Title, we approach things a bit differently and try to see each closing through the eyes of our customers. We handle and coordinate all of the tedious details behind the scenes so that closing is a stress-free experience.” Gayle knows that this business is much more than transactional, so she is focused on building a team that understands the importance of the overall customer experience, which enables us to build strong relationships throughout the Houston community.
Gayle is a native Houstonian. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology from the University of Houston, and is a proud lifetime Alumni Member. She is also very active in many industry organizations, including TLTA, ALTA, HAR, WCR, CREW and GHBA.
Wendy has been with Chicago Title for 9 years. As Sales Manager, Wendy is responsible for establishing yearly sales goals and thresholds for each member of our sales team. She coaches and mentors our sales representative and branch managers to create a positive and cohesive branch culture within each of our Houston area offices. She also facilitates and implements ongoing sales training programs that are geared towards utilizing Chicago Title products and services. Prior to her position as Sales Manager, Wendy spent 6 years in business development, which gives her the unique insight to best be able to guide her sales team. Her previous experience was working in residential new homes sales, which allowed her to cultivate and develop strong client relationships. Wendy has achieved many awards in recognition of her success and contributions to the company, including Million Dollar Club in 2006, 2008 and 2010, and the Recognition of Excellence Award in Residential Sales in 2010 and 2011, which is only presented to 10% of sales people across all company brands. She has also been a consistent annual member of the President’s Club since 2006.
Wendy is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
Elise started with Chicago Title Dallas in 1985. After spending several years in title and escrow, she moved to Chicago and worked for Chicago Title and Trust installing proprietary systems nationwide. The majority of her time was spent in California and New York, after which she returned to Texas in the mid-nineties as part of the Chicago Title Houston team, later serving as the Texas IT manager.
In 2000, Elise remained in Houston but spent the next six years traveling to title operations across the country, helping to streamline productivity and reduce costs for all brands in the FNF Family of Companies. Those years included creating content for and speaking at numerous national seminars.
The most recent focus for Elise is back with Chicago Title Houston serving as the Escrow Administrator and audit manager. She also works with production systems to maintain efficiency and compliance, and teaches as a certified Texas Department of Insurance instructor for required continuing education hours.
In addition to local responsibilities, Elise is a member of several national strategic planning groups, and often consults with other Texas operations on various projects.
